Workouts

BeatFit has four different workouts:

-Cadence and Time Trial use time and repetitions to define a workout

-Plateau and Sawtooth use your heart rate and repetitions to define a workout

All four workouts will:

-Begin with two beeps and the UP chime/haptic

     -End with the Success chime/haptic

-Display your heart rate in the "BPM" window

Each workout has individual chime/haptics. See descriptions below for details.

Cadence

Set a fixed time interval and repetitions.

-A single chime/haptic will indicate the end of each Repetition

Example: Intervals lasting 2 seconds, for 20 repetitions.

Great for:  Weight Training, Planks, Situps, Stretching, Step Tests

Plateau

Set a Peak/target heart rate, time to achieve, and repetitions.

-The success chime/haptic will sound when you reach your Peak rate

-The retry chime/haptic will sound if you drop below your Peak rate

Example: Peak heart rate of 140 beats per minute for 4 minutes of cumulative time, for 1 repetition only.

Time counts down only when heart rate is at or above Peak setting.

Great for:  Cardio, Expanded sprints, cycling, hiking
